Gretchen,
It would be helpful if you had a the color names listed with the pictures.

Hi Lisa:
Due to computer distortions, its really hard to be specific about he colors Some of the pictures got sent with out the colors names. If you need help, we would gladly suggest a range for the picture you are looking at. Thanks for you comment!

Hi Gretchen
I would love a suggestion of color range for the first picture in your set. At the moment I have a tester pouch of Macadamia on my hall wall. Would this be the one you have used in the picture? I love the look of the colours in that shot. Thanks!
Patricia.

Devine Macadamia, Devine Muslin or devinegreen: Siamese would give you this color effect. If you need to go deeper, look at Devine Filbert, Pecan, or devinegreen;Persian. So glad you love the look. Wait till you feel the paint!

I wanted my living-dining room to have a modern ‘Bali’ feel. After dozens of paint samples I painted the living room light orange and the adjoining dining room light green. Now the walls look like a slice of cantaloupe!! I was thinking of abandoning this color combination because it is so difficult to pick and match the right colors. I regained my enthusiasm for my Bali room when I came across your colors and paints! I was thinking of Dust for the orange but I don’t know if I should try Crunch for the dining room. thank you

So Glad you found us! yes we are all about making your color ideas a reality. Devine Dust, Ginger, and Mesa are beautiful… and so is devinegreen: Orangutan. If you are looking for a hint of green, Devine Crunch, Fescue and devinegreen: Mantis are great, let me know what you think. I can make more specific recommendations…BUT…if you really want to do this right from the get-go and not waste any time getting the wrong color, read How to use our Devine Palettes. Buy our Trend-proof Color Collection. If you use this paint palette the way I suggest the colors will speak to you out loud and show you exactly which ones are the “perfect” ones for your home.

Wold you please tell me what color the first photo has on the wall? That lovely soft chocolaty color. I’m thinking of painting our gym room that tone. Most of our home is done in Sand (living room, entry way, all hallways, lots of sand!), Cashew (dining room), Peanut (family room and two offices) and Muslin(kitchen). All warm colors. I’m wondering if that color is too dark for a small room. Windows are covered in white plantation shutters, carpet is a soft tan/beige. Your thoughts? By the way, we love your paint and colors. We’ve done most of our house in them and have just a few more rooms to go.

So happy to hear you love our colors and our products. Your personal endorsement speaks louder than our words!!! Your colors all sound beautiful together. Try Devine Mocha, Cocoa, Medallion, or devinegreen: Bison. Read Can light colors lighten a dark room. It will help you make a decision on how dark to go! Please send us pictures, as you can see the gallery really creates inspiration—home owner to home owner.

I have a master bedroom and bath that are all kind of connected. The bathroom has Grain and I am looking for some “browns” that will go well with it as you can see both the bedroom and bathroom. Ajoining family room has Latte. Been thinking of Muslin, or Siamese for 3 of the bedroom walls and Cocoa for the wall opposite of the bathroom behind the bed….any help would be great!

Those sound great. Also look at Devine Filbert and Sumatra. You may decide to go a little richer…if you really want to do this right from the get-go and not waste any time getting the wrong color, read How to use our Devine Palettes. If you use this paint palette the way I suggest the colors will speak to you out loud and show you exactly which ones are the “perfect” ones for your master room walls. You may find surprising combinations!

We are considering a move and need to pick new paint colors. We love yours. There isn’t a retailer anywhere near us. Would you recommend the complete trend-proof collection or is there a better way to get chips, so we can look at them in the space? Thanks!
— Juanita 12/30/2008 09:55 PM #
P.S. We would like to consider a palette of colors that would work throughout each floor or throughout the house. Any advice is appreciated.
— Juanita 12/30/2008 09:56 PM #
Juanita:
All of our color collections offer you a variety of color combinations you can put together to paint walls and ceilings. The color direction of the combinations you love is what makes your home personal. To pull the entire home together so that all your paint colors flow, connect, and express a beautiful environment read How to use our Devine Palettes and use our Trend-proof Color Collection the way I suggest. The colors will speak to you and tell you exactly which ones are the “perfect” ones for all the walls and ceilings in your home. Once you do this, and you narrow down your decisions, I can certainly give you my 2 cents on any questions you have about the colors and how they work together. Have a happy, healthy, and prosperous New year. there is no better way to start than by spreading a new coat of paint on your walls!
