Sweet Dreams

Sure, bedrooms are a place to sleep, but by now you know that your husband can fall asleep anywhere. Bedrooms are also amazing places to read, meditate, talk, and even entertain (if you know what I mean!)

Here are a several rooms I want to chat about. There are many more I hope to post as I go along.

For the pictured look, try Devine Merlot, Pinot, Tempest, Dusk, Moss, Georgette or Manzanita.

I love the high contrast of the white against a bold red/purple color with a soothing green canopy. It is also very yin and yang, feminine and masculine, strong and fragile.

You have to make rooms a real place or destination. Imagine that you are going on holiday. Beautiful color is your golden opportunity to create a space where you feel good about things.

For this look, try Devine Straw, Gold or Honey. Notice how the ceiling disappears by wrapping the color all over (I always say our Devine Colors wrap you up like the perfect Pashmina for your outfit.) Our color consulting always deals with the ceiling as the fifth wall.

For this look try Devine Cafe or Teak. You can certainly imagine someone sitting in that chair reading (and drinking) while the other happy camper is off in TV land.

For this look, try Devine Glass, Date, Moss or Fescue along with Devine Sand, Custard or Macadamia. A bedroom full of romantic color may lead to romance, or to personal satisfaction!

When you open your eyes in the morning, the color you wake up to can make a big difference on how you feel about the day!
