This is so cool! Here is a link to “RATE-MY-SPACE” at HGTV. What a great way for anyone to show off their creativity and inspiration. Janell Beals does a fantastic design job, and I am very proud that Devine Color participated with her imagination to deliver a perfect design atmosphere. Checkout her great ideas, comments and HIGH RATINGS with Devine Cocoa and Devine Pecan, in Delicate Wall Finish.

  1. would like color help with lower level family room w/blue/tan rug & blue sofas.

And no I don’t want blue on walls but want it bright and warm.

  2. How about looking at our Pacific Trail Mix palette to start with. Look at Devine Peanut and Devine Filbert. If you really want the blues to POP, are you brave enough to heat things up with Devine Cayenne or Paprika?

  3. I am having a hard time deciding between devine peanut and oat – at first glance on the sheets of paper – peanut looks more yellow, but recently I’ve noticed that the peanut has more brown and the oat is a lighter yellow. I have pecan and macademia in most of the rooms – what do you think would work better. The look I’m going after is a warm golden glow, but I don’t want it to be to yellow bright. hope that makes sense :)

  4. Well, actually Devine Oat has more green in it than Devine Peanut, and that is what could be making it more vibrant, or lighter yellow in your room. I have seen both colors look beautiful with Macadamia and Pecan, so if Peanut feels warmer to you, that’s the one!

  7. Candice:

Try taking Devine Pecan deeper into Devine Roast or contrasting with burnt reds, such as Devine Blush, Ginger or the new devinegreen Lobster coming out at the end of August. Let Devine Skyline be the feature that sets it all off.

If you want a cooler contemporary feel, think about doing Devine Cocoa? That might be really interesting…
