The Viceroy Hotel; Pacific Fresh Color!
10/20/2007 11:13 AM by Gretchen Schauffler

What makes the Viceroy so color cool?...the way it features black and white, with stunning charcoal grays- that salivate from a blue spice, preventing the colors from looking dull and institutional.

This new twist on simple basics is paired up in sharp contrast to a confident green that can only be described as that “superstar at every party,” which includes the outdoor scenery.

This palette serves as the ultimate neutral background to colorful food and colorful people.

In Hollywood, where stars pop-in and -out of boutique hotels, to hang out, sleep in, or just get away, I see the Viceroy’s colorful environment as giving a feeling of “clean slates” or “hip places,” either of which can be felt, depending on your mood. I heard that the week before we were there, Brittney Spears applied for a bartending gig.

To achieve one of these “in the know/now” color relationships, try Devine Icing, Devine Piping, Devine C’est La Vie, Devine Comtess, Devine Juniper, and Devine Victoire.
